What the MLBPA Player Agent exam actually tests: service time, salary arbitration, the competitive balance tax, and the Agent Regulations.
The MLBPA Player Agent exam is hard in a different way from the NFLPA exam. There is no curve, and the union has not published a numeric pass mark. Miss too many service-time, arbitration, or CBT questions and the rest of the paper will not save you.

Is the MLBPA exam harder than the NFLPA exam?
They fail people for different reasons. NFLPA is scaled against the field. MLBPA is a raw written exam with no published numeric cut. If you are weaker at service-time and arbitration application than at beating a curve, MLBPA is the harder paper.
How long should I study?
Most serious candidates want months, not weeks, especially if they have not lived in the 2022 Basic Agreement already. A diagnostic in week one tells you whether that is realistic.
